As a family, we like nothing better than travel and exploring new places; beaches, woods, towns and cities. Pre-motherhood I enjoyed traveling; favourite places being South Africa, New Zealand and Cuba. My partner and I met in the South of France. Pre-motherhood, I was never one to say no to the opportunity to flex my passport. Post-motherhood I came to realise, there much of my home country I barely knew. As a family, we love to explore places around the UK. When in the North, you might find us in Peak District, the Yorkshire Sculpture Park or the The Lakes.
We love camping, glamping and festivals both small and large. Kite flying and walking. We are members of the National Trust and this blog often features places local to Bristol and the South West that we have visited. We love being outside. I am a supporter of Project Wild Thing. I think it is important for children to connect with nature. This blog is a reflection of my family’s shared love of travel, exploration and the outdoors.
