So what do you like to do outside The 9-5? We are lucky enough to live within a short drive of the Peak District. I used to love walking in the Peak. That is less compatible with a four year old. Walking is (apparently) boring. Instead we go exploring, adventuring, racing, climbing. As long as it’s not actual walking.
We like an afternoon of scrambling, discovering and wandering amongst the gritstone rocks of the Derbyshire moors. It’s something as a family we have come to love.
Fat Face asked me to promote their competition: ‘Fat Face, Proud Sponsors Of Life Outside the 9-5’, which invites people to take pictures of themselves doing what they love ‘Outside the 9- 5’. Simple as that. Anything; knitting, camping, baking, crafting.
‘Proud Sponsors of Life Outside the 9 – 5’ Fat Face want to capture the nation’s photos in a big competition to win a fab weekend away. It’s about exploring what the nation loves. Fat Face will award the winner with a weekend’s loan of an authentic airstream campervan in Dorset and a windsurf lesson at OTC Weymouth. There’s Fat Face vouchers to be won too.
To enter just visit www.FatFace.com/9to5
Disclosure: In return for promoting this competition. I was given a gift card to purchase Fat Face clothing. Clothing in these photos are Fat Face.

What a beautiful area of the UK! To be honest I need to get the family doing more things outside of the 9-5!
Go on get out there!
What great photo’s love them 🙂 We do quite a bit outside, with dogs it a must but dogs walks are to enjoy bug hunting for Oz and always good chatting time for Bex and me. Beach walks are shell seeking, crab finding, pebble skimming with usually tea in the dunes and a bit of free style sand castle building!!! Love bike riding along the cycle paths and in the woods and of course my favourite inside thing to do would be baking!
But have to say love being outdoors and would love to join you in those photo’s 🙂
You are so very lucky to live so close to the sea. Sounds bliss.
I adore this question. And I’m ashamed to say that in the last few years we’ve not had many “Life Outside the 9-5” days. Both of us seem to always be working on something– all the time.
But when we finally gain control of our free time I hope to go for long walks [which I do not find boring ;-)] & hikes in some of the many, many state & national parks around us. Moving on a path outside in a natural setting is what I really like to do. Must make a point of doing it more often. Thanks for the reminder.
Agree, life has a habit of taking over. I hope you do find some time, maybe before the summer is over.
Clothes look good but the scenery is spectacular. Seriously they call their clothes Fat Face?!
Your comment did make me giggle. Yes Fat Face!
Wow awesome pictures and looks like a brilliant day out!
I have Mr Noo to thank for the photos – thank you.
I absolutely love these pics! Is that devil’s stride? OMG amazing competition too, I want to stay in that campervan!
It’s Stannage – the Plantation area.
