the UK’s biggest, two-day social media conference and blogger event, where lifestyle bloggers and social influencers gather to meet and socialise, network with brands, improve their skills, and fire their creativity.
It’s a fantastic event, it transforms the day-to-day on-line life of bloggers into real-time, off-line event. Several rooms and one very big hall are filled vibrant and amazing bloggers, who’ve come together to make new friends, meet on-line friends and develop their skills. There is a host of amazing speakers and of course the BIBs Awards.
What’s it like? I’ve written before on the experience that is Britmums Live. It’s unique and it’s exciting. It can be overwhelming, but trust me once you get into the swing of things, it makes for a brilliant couple of days.
What’s undeniable about Britmums Live is the build up and the palpable excitement. With that comes nerves. In step the Britmums Butterflies! Seven friendly bloggers whose aim is to sooth those pre-conference nerves. This is us:
Join us on Facebook: Britmums Butterflies Facebook Group and start networking with other Britmums Live Bloggers from the comfort of your sofa. We an have an answer to every pre-conference question. Tweet us on twitter:
All handpicked for friendliness.
We will be meeting and greeting at the start of the event on Friday. For those only attending on Saturday come find us and say hello! We have our own little area in the main hub. We aim to calm jitters, introduce you to other bloggers and send you on your way ready to make the most of Britmums Live!
My top tip for before the event: Plan! Plan sessions to attend and make a plan to meet a friend to arrive with.
Have a cruise around the, read some of the intro posts, leave some comments and post your own.

Is this your first blogging conference? Nope. 4th. (How time flies).
Are you attending both days? Oh yes!
What are you most looking forward to at BritMums Live 2013? The atmosphere! It’s friendly, exciting and slightly amazing (am I gushing now?) and the Bloggers Key Notes – always a highlight! and my friend Mary who is coming from (actual) Spain.
What are you wearing? Hungover clothes on Saturday – comfortable and minumum effort. Probably the same Friday but without the hangover element.
What do you hope to gain from BritMums Live 2013? An opportunity to learn in a “non-judgy pants” atmosphere.
Tell us one thing about you that not everyone knows: My intention is to arrive at Britmums Live by Boris Bike.
See you next week!
