Since discovering Westonbirt Arboretum, it has been a wish to visit at Christmas. Between the end of November to the days before Christmas, just at weekends, Westonbirt becomes even more enchanted. As the light fades and darkness descents, when Westonbirt usually closes, it opens to the crowds and transforms into something magical. To follow the enchanted trail is to discover; Christmas trees that light up when sung to, trees that blow smoke rings, bubble producing trees and trees transformed by colour.Enchanted Christmas is very special. The handful of photos taken, capture a glimpse. I’m afraid, Dear Readers, I wanted to enjoy the moment rather than fiddle with camera settings.
Westonbirt has become one of my favourite places. The Enchanted Christmas is going to become ‘The thing’ to do each Christmas.
As ever, thank you to everyone who popped by Helloitsgemma this year, especially to the lovely people who comment, the even lovelier people that regularly comment, who via a small box at the bottom of each blog post have become favoured friends. Seasons greetings, enjoy the next few days, whatever you have planned. Wishing you wonderful things for 2015.
See you on the other side.
Love & Best Wishes, Gemma
